Chinese Cabbage Salad (from neighbor Sarah)

1 package shredded cabbage

1 cup canola oil

3/4 cup light brown sugar

2 TA soy sauce

1/2 cup white vinegar

2 packages Ramen Noodles

1/2 cup salted sunflower seeds (shelled)

1/2 cup sliced almonds (the kind in the produce section of the grocery store)

On cookie sheet spread broken up Ramen Noodles, sunflower seeds & almonds. Brown in oven at 300 degrees (approx. 10 minutes). Cool.  In jar (to shake) combine oil, brown sugar, vinegar & soy sauce. Add to cabbage in bowl. When ready to serve mix in noodle/nut mixture.

1   large bottle Wishbone Russian Dressing

1   12 oz. jar Smuckers Apricot Preserves

1  package Onion Soup Mix

10 pounds chicken wings (seems like a lot to me so use what you think seems right)

Broil chicken wings til browned; pour out fat;  combine all other ingredients in sauce pan (except chicken) and heat til mixed; add to chicken; bake at 350 til done!

Paula Deen Chocolate Gooey Cookies

1  8 oz. cream cheese - softened

1  stick of unsalted butter - softened

1  egg

1  teas vanilla

1  box of moist chocolate cake mix

Cream butter and cream cheese til smooth; beat in vanilla & egg; beat in cake mix; cover & refrigerate at least two hours; roll cold batter into balls; bake 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet at 350; sprinkle with confectioners sugar!
