I did one of the most fun, funniest things this weekend! My daughter and I went to the Wilbur Theatre Saturday afternoon to see a little band called "Port Chuck". If you're not familiar with them well then, you must not watch General Hospital! Four actors from the show front a band. All four sing and quite well, I might add! It was a blast….in a twelve year old kind of way. Port Chuck played some of the same stuff you hear on WROR: lots of 60's, 70's and 80's songs, a few recent things thrown in and one original that sounded a lot like Eurythmics' "Here Comes the Rain Again"….and of course they closed with Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl". Hilarious! And yea, that was me who yelled "I love you Spinelli" during a ballad which made the nearly sold out, mostly female audience swoon…ah puberty!
