The members of Aerosmith apparently need to Get a Grip.
Multiple sources have reportedly told The New York Post’s “Page Six” that Aerosmith’s comeback year is turning sour, and the bandmates are “barely speaking to each other”
This could be the result of almost anything, as the band has experienced turmoil before, but odds are that the squabble is due to their shows not selling out and the fact that their new album, Music From Another Dimension, isn’t doing as well as they’d hoped.
And the group’s famed frontman, Steven Tyler, may be enduring a downward tailspin of his own.
His engagement to Erin Brady appears to be on the rocks, which probably isn’t being made better by the fact that he’s now very crabby about Aerosmith’s lack of album sales; an issue he’s apparently blaming out the band’s label, Columbia Records.
And what better timing could there be for Tyler’s attorney and business manager, Dina LaPolt, to be off filming for a reality show? A source claimed that “LaPolt is doing a reality-show pilot instead of focusing on Tyler’s career, and his career needs help.”
Despite all of the negative reports, a spokesperson for the band claims that everything is A-Okay with Aerosmith, as well as with Tyler and Brady’s engagement.
