Bad news for fans with tickets to upcoming dates for the ZZ Top/Jeff Beck tour as all remaining show have been temporarily suspended due to a recent injury sustained by ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill.

According to Palace Sports and Entertainment (who owns the DTE Energy Music Theater, which was the location of the tour stop scheduled for August 27th), Hill slipped and fell on his tour bus last night and injured his hip to the point where he “requires immediate attention.”

The ZZ Top/Jeff Beck tour got off to a bad start in late July when the first six shows needed to be postponed, because Hill had to undergo surgery to remove two kidney stones.

Ticket holders to the remaining date of the tour can receive a refund at point of purchase.
