Jimmy Page is celebrating the wide release of his autobiography, Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page, in a big way.
A book signing has been scheduled at the Union Square Barnes and Noble in New York City on November 5th, just weeks after the book’s release on October 14th.
Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page was first released in 2010, but because of its limited edition run of only 2,500 copies, most fans never got their hands on the highly sought after book.
Preceding the signing, Jimmy will be the featured interview guest on Nov 3 at The Kaufmann Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m. for “Jimmy Page in Conversation.” It’s a sold out event but more info can be found at 92y.org.
Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page was the brainchild of Page himself and features previously never-before-seen photographs of the music legend from the most important and memorable parts of his career, including early photos of him as a session musician to exclusive pictures taken from The Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, ARMS, The Firm and other acts Page was a part of.
Page’s autobiography is available at Amazon for pre-order. Coincidentally, the book’s release comes just two weeks before the second round of Led Zeppelin remasters (Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy) hit shelves. 2014 is really shaking out to be a big year for the guitar legend!
