Ringo & His All Starr Band Hitting the Road Again

 

2014 will be another eventful year for Ringo Starr.  Not only does next month mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ historic “Ed Sullivan Show” debut, but he’s going on tour!

Ringo and his 12th All Starr Band are gearing up for a new 28-date tour that kicks off on June 6 in Ontario and concludes July 19 in Los Angeles, according to the official press release.

The 12th All Starr Band has been together since 2012 and boasts the talents of Gregg Bissonette, Steve Lukather, Richard Page, Gregg Rolie, and the iconic Todd Rundgren.

Ringo and the fellas recently played his latest record “Photograph” at the Grammys this past Sunday, where he also joined his former partner-in-crime Paul McCartney  on “the skins” later that night.

Starr and McCartney got together the next night to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles arriving in the States and their first “Ed Sullivan appearance.  The special airs on CBS February 9, 50 years to the exact day of their performance!
