Todd Rundgren Plans Summer Fan Retreat

After a hectic touring schedule last year, Todd Rundgren is already planning to kick back in 2014.

The rocker announced plans for the Mythic Pacific Retreat, his fifth camp event in his camp series, which will held at the Cambria Pines Lodge in California this summer.

According to the official press release, the retreat runs from August 18th through the 22nd, focusing on Rundgren’s music and success as an artist, along with live performances every night.

The lodge is located in the Central Coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles, giving fans the chance to get away from the world for a few days to relax with Rundgren outside a touring environment.

In the past year, Rundgren has released a new album, State, and has had a very active touring schedule.

He participated in two international tours in 2013, one promoting State and the other with former Beatle, Ringo Starr.

Later this month, Rundgren will be receiving the coveted Les Paul Award at the 29th Annual Technical Excellence and Creativity Awards in Anaheim for his outstanding contributions in audio technology and production.
