The Queen guitarist is clean.
After announcing he was undergoing tests for cancer last month, Brian May has announced via his web site that doctors have given him the all-clear.
May wrote, "Well, I got a great phone call from my specialist this evening. He said, 'I have good news: The result of your prostate biopsy is here, and we did not find any cancer cells.' So finally, as far as that vital organ is concerned, I am -- thank God -- in the clear." May added that he was celebrating the good news with a cup of tea.
The guitarist is in the midst of working on some archival projects of unreleased Queen music -- including frontman Freddie Mercury's recordings with Michael Jackson. No release date has been determined yet, however.
