To coincide with the release of his latest album New, Paul McCartney debuted the music video for his latest song, “Queenie Eye” – with a little help from some famous friends.
Per E! News, the video stars a number of celebrities, including Johnny Depp, Sean Penn, model Kate Moss, Meryl Streep, “Star Trek” actor Chris Pine and Jude Law.
The stars came out to celebrate with Paul in style at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, where the gang of A-listers can be seen hanging out.
The ex-Beatles musician sits at the piano to perform the song while his pals arrive in succession, beginning with Depp.
The video is also notable for the combination of Depp and Moss, who dated for four years during the ‘90s, although the former beaus never interact together on-screen.
Paul also unveiled the “making-of” footage from the “Queenie Eye” video, which shows stars like Alice Eve and Tracy Ullman, who also star in the video, talking about meeting and working with the legendary performer.
Paul McCartney’s new record, New, debuted at no. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S., Reuters reports. What do you think of the video for “Queenie Eye”? Share your thoughts in the comments!
