Neil Young’s 27th annual Bridge School Benefit concerts take place on Saturday and Sunday (October 26 and 27) at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif, south of San Francisco.
This year's guests including Heart and Elvis Costello with his wife, Diana Krall, but the real excitement is for a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young reunion, the quartet's first Bridge School Benefit appearance since 2005.
Graham Nash, meanwhile, tells us he thinks the weekend appearances could be the bridge to more work for the supergroup quartet in the near future:
"It's not been spoken about, but it's certainly in the air. I know that Neil, when he goes, 'Hey Willy, man, you guys what to do the Bridge?,' I know what he means. He wants to hear us. He wants to know if we're singing good. Why? Just for the six songs at the Bridge? No, I think Neil is thinking next year. That's me, only my opinion, but I'd love to see us go out...and kick some ass!"
Nash is currently preparing a box set from CSNY's famed 1974 stadium tour, which he promises will be "stupendous."
Nash recently played in the U.K. with David Crosby and Stephen Stills and will be playing solo dates on the West Coast during November.
