WROR Little League Tour - Lowell Spinners Youth League Banquet Bash Official Contest Rules

How to Enter for a Chance to Win: At all Little League events attended by the WROR Street Team, April 2012 through June 19, 2012, enter to win a Lowell Spinners Youth League Banquet Bash. Fill out registration form completely and legibly, and submit it as instructed by on-site WROR representatives. Incomplete or illegible entries may be removed in the judges’ sole discretion. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. Drawing will occur on or about June 21, 2012 and winner will be notified by phone or mail. Winner must confirm notification within five (5) business days or risk disqualification and selection of a new winner.

One grand prize will be awarded: A Lowell Spinners Youth League Banquet Bash at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, MA for 15 children (aged 5 to 13) and 15 adults (18+). Date to be determined by the Lowell Spinners based on schedule and availability.

Banquet Bash includes:

A hot dog, small soda and chips for each person

Two "Swampland Kid's Area" tokens for each person

A reserved seat ticket for that night’s game

The option to have your team trophies presented to your team by a Spinners player in a pre-game ceremony on top of the dugout.

Approximate retail value: $450

Prize Conditions: Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner. Winner will be deemed to be the person who submitted the entry, or the winning Youth League team, if applicable. If winner cannot use the prize on the date(s) offered by the Lowell Spinners, prize will be forfeited.

Eligibility: All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of WROR, Greater Media Boston, the Lowell Spinners, other promotion sponsors (including the venue), advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WROR, and other radio stations in WROR’s metropolitan survey area are not eligible to participate. One entry per person; multiple entries will disqualify the entrant. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to participate.

Release: Winner and all participants release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, WROR, Greater Boston Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won.

Taxes: If required by law, WROR will report the total value of the prize to the IRS and will furnish winner with a federal Form 1099. Winner must provide social security number to WROR for tax reporting purposes, and is solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize.

General: Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. WROR reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement. By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of WROR and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding. Contest is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter for a Chance to Win

Between Monday April 23, 2012 and Sunday May 20, 2012 at 11:59pm (ET) go to www.magic1067.com, www.wror.com, www.wklb.com, or www.969bostontalks.com and complete/submit your online entry for the Norwegian Cruise Line Freestyle Family Fun Giveaway. Limit one entry per person, per station.  Entries must be received by 11:59pm on May 20th to be eligible for the prize drawing.  Winners will be randomly selected on or about May 21, 2012, and will be notified by phone and/or email.  One (1) first prize winner will be selected from all eligible entries received by each station (for a total of four (4) first prize winners) and one (1) grand prize winner will be selected from all eligible entries received by all stations combined (for a total of one grand prize winner).

All contest entries will become the property of the Stations and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Prize

Four (4) first prizes will be awarded, one by each participating station, each an American Express® Gift Card in the amount of $25. Terms and Conditions apply to the card. Subject to applicable law, a monthly maintenance fee will begin the month following card expiration date. The card is a prepaid card. Each time the card is used, the amount of the transaction will be deducted from the available balance. No fees will be assessed once the card balance reaches zero.

One (1) grand prize will be awarded: a Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) 7-Day cruise for two (2), one (1) $200 Macy’s® gift card, and one (1) $200 Target® gift card.  Terms and conditions apply as stated on the card or accompanying paperwork.  Total ARV of grand prize package is $4,398. ARV is based on average of pricing currently available. If actual value is less than stated ARV, difference will not be awarded.

NCL 7-day Cruise for two (2) Details:

Minimum category oceanview stateroom cabin for two people (double occupancy) . Airfare is NOT included.  Prize will be awarded via cruise certificate, which must be redeemed in accordance with Norwegian Cruise Line instructions.  Passport may be required for international sailings.

Reservation, booking and travel must be completed by May 20, 2013, otherwise winner will forfeit prize.

Additional persons traveling in the stateroom will pay applicable 3rd/4th passenger rate plus all applicable taxes, fees, and other charges. 

Cruise prize is subject to terms of cruise certificate, and terms are subject to Norwegian Cruise Line’s discretion and availability at time of booking. Blackout dates may apply including sailings impacting major holidays (e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s).

Winner and travel companion(s) must travel on the same itinerary. Winner must be the custodial parent or legal guardian of any minor (under 18) travel companion; otherwise, travel companion must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of departure.

Norwegian Cruise Line must be notified no later than 45-60 days prior to sailing date to ensure cabin space availability. Name and departure date changes are not allowed once reservation is made and will result in forfeiture of cabin space.

Government taxes and fees, non-commissionable fares, fuel supplement surcharges, gratuities, ground transportation, shore excursions, bar charges, restaurant cover charges and other personal expenditures, transfers, and onboard personal purchases ARE NOT INCLUDED. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: NCL reserves the right to charge a fuel supplement without prior notice if the closing price of West Texas Intermediate Fuel increases above $65 per barrel on the NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange Index). In the event a fuel supplement is charged, NCL will have sole discretion to apply the supplementary charge to both existing and new bookings, regardless of whether such bookings have been paid in full. Such supplementary charges are not included in the cruise fare. The fuel supplement charge will not exceed $10.00 per passenger per day.

Once a cabin has been confirmed, changes will not be accepted. To request a list of current available cruises departing from Boston, contact the Norwegian Cruise Line Cruise Accommodations Desk at (800) 281-4382 or via e-mail at revenueopssupport@ncl.com. Only Ships/itineraries listed on the cruise prize certificate are eligible. Cruise certificate supplied by Norwegian Cruise Line should be filled out with desired sailing date and submitted to Revenue Operations via standard mail. Release

By entering, all participants agree to release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, the Stations, Greater Boston Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won.  Winners (and their guests, if any) will be required to sign a form releasing Greater Media Boston and its affiliated companies from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize.

As a condition to participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. The entrant and Greater Media Boston hereby waive any and all right to trial by jury. If any provision of these Official Rules is declared or found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or void, then such provision will be null and void but each other provision hereof not so affected will be enforced to the full extent permitted by applicable law.

3. A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a Station contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days.

4. One entry per person; multiple entries will disqualify the entrant. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to participate in this contest. Void where prohibited.

Prize(s): 1. All prizes, unless otherwise stated, must be picked up at the Station's studios at 55 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA 02125 during normal business hours of 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. If a prize is mailed to the winner, the station is not responsible for failure to perform on the part of the US Postal Service or any other delivery service.

2. Prizes will be released to winners only. Winners are required to present a valid photo ID and social security number in order to pick up any prize. Additionally, ALL winners are required to sign a Winner's Release relieving the Station, Greater Boston Radio, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents and contest sponsors from any and all liability with respect to the receipt and/or use of the prize. Any person who refuses to sign the Release will forfeit the contest prize.

3. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for all contests and giveaways. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.

4. Prizes not claimed within 30 days of being awarded, or in the case of a time sensitive prize, within its period of usability, shall be considered forfeited and will become property of Station. Such prize may be disposed of at the discretion of Station Management.

5. Winners will receive a federal Form 1099 from Greater Boston Radio, Inc. and are responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes.

General:
1. The station is not responsible for any entries and/or telephone calls that are misdirected, lost, disconnected, not received, or illegible.

2. Entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of Greater Boston Radio and will not be acknowledged or returned.

3. Station Management shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the contest and the interpretation of contest rules. The decisions of Station Management shall be final. Entry into station contests constitutes agreement by contestant to abide by these rules, as well as any other specific contest rules established by Station. Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won.

4. By participating in this contest, each contestant hereby consents to Station and Greater Boston Radio using the contestant's name, voice, likeness, biographical information, his/her participation in the contest, and the substance of the contestant's telephone call for on-air broadcast and for advertising and promotional purposes. Contestant agrees that no additional compensation will be paid for such usage.

5. Odds of winning depend on the number of correct and/or eligible entries received and/or the particular type of contest being run. All tie-breaking procedures (if applicable) will be set forth in the individual contest rules.

6. Copies of written contest rules and the list of winners are available during regular business hours at 55 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA 02125.

7. Station contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited. Station, Greater Boston Radio, its parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, contest sponsors and affiliated companies, and advertising and promotion agencies accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from (a) participation in the contest and/or (b) the acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize awarded hereunder.

8. Station reserves the right to change, alter or modify these rules at any time with or without written notice. These are general contest rules, and rules for individual contests may vary. To the extent that any individual contest rules differ from these rules set forth herein, the individual contest rules will govern and control.

9. Station reserves the right to end or stop any contest at any time and for any reason.

10. Station reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in Station's sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by Station or its affiliates.
