How to Enter for a Chance to Win
The contest will begin on Monday, September 16, 2013 and will run weekdays between 8am and 6pm (ET) through Friday, October 25, 2013.
To participate, listen for the “cue to call” sounder to air on one of the participating Greater Media Boston radio stations, Magic 106.7 WMJX, 105.7 WROR, Country 102.5 WKLB** or HOT 96.9 WBQT (collectively, “Stations”). Cue to call will air up to three (3) times per day (weekdays only) during the specified contest period. Stations will attempt to air the cue to call at approximately the same time on each station, but some variation will occur due to differences in programming content.
Each Station’s “cue to call” will play each day at approximately 8:20am, 1:20pm and 5:20pm. Once the cue to call is played, the 100th caller market-wide to 855-485-2000 will be designated the winner, subject to confirmation of eligibility. Calls may be recorded and/or broadcast on-air. In the event that the 100th caller is disconnected, the next caller taken will be deemed the 100th caller.
**For Country 102.5 WKLB FM only, listen at approximately 7:40am (ET) for JW and Lori (or another Country 102.5 personality) to announce the “$1,000 SONG OF THE DAY.” When the Song of the Day plays on Country 102.5 later that same day, that will be the cue to call for a chance to win. NOTE: Only the specific Song of the Day, when played in its entirety from beginning to end, will be used to solicit contest calls. Snippets of songs played for advertising or promotional purposes and music beds that contain music from the Song of the Day WILL NOT count. Listeners should try to be the 100th caller at 855-485-2000 as soon as they hear the Song of the Day begin to play. If a listener accidentally calls when a song snippet or music bed is played, s/he will simply be informed of the error.
Winner qualification is subject to FULL phone call completion, and the verification of the caller’s name, address, home phone number, work/cell phone number and social security number, all of which must be provided prior to completion of the call. Contest calls will not be accepted at any other number. There is no limit to the number of times a listener can try to call in and win. Limit one (1) prize per person and per household during the contest.
Online listeners to the Stations’ web streams may experience a reception delay of up to one minute. Listening to the Station’s over-the-air broadcast is the best way to participate in this contest. Each Station’s listeners will be competing with listeners from other Greater Media Boston stations who will also receive a “cue to call” at the same time and will be calling the same number.
If any initially-selected winner is later deemed ineligible to receive the prize, Greater Media Boston reserves the right (but is not obligated) to air one or more additional “cue to call” sounders at any time during the contest period (weekdays 7am-7pm) to award the forfeited prize.
